A Sketch - Antique Quilts from the Pilgrim / Roy Collection
This year the festival is privileged to present 62 quilts from a single collection. Gerald E. Roy of Warner N.H. has been collecting for over 40 years and has amassed a superb and idiosyncratic variety of examples from the late 18th Century through the 20th Century. The Pilgrim / Roy Collection, of which he is owner and curator, is known as one of the finest private World Class Quilt Collections.

It is rare for this many quilts to be seen in one location in one exhibit.

Mr. Roy will offer daily gallery talks in Miller North where the quilts will be hanging.

He will also present a lecture "From Folly To Favor" Friday evening at 7:00 PM at the Blue Ribbon Pavilion. A presentation of antique quilt tops and quilts from the P/R Collection.
